Grant Mackenzie
CEO - Drake Business Services Asia / Drake Business Logistics, Japan Country Manager
As the Chief Executive Officer of Drake Business Logistics and Drake Business Services Asia, Grant is based in Japan, where he focuses on expanding the local market presence.
With a wealth of experience across banking, telecommunications, professional services, and government sectors, Grant is a commercially savvy leader known for his deep expertise in logistics and BPO. His ability to deliver practical, value-driven solutions is widely respected.
Grant is dedicated to sustainable growth, exploring new global markets, and leveraging our custom technology solutions to stand out in a competitive landscape
Siew Wee is the Group Finance Manager, responsible for overseeing our group financial operations.
Siew Wee joined the team in April 2017 and is based in our Singapore Group Head Office. Siew Wee manages all areas of Group finance and analysis for the purpose of maximizing financial and operational performance. Prior to joining DBL-DBSA, Siew Wee was Assistant Accountant at a listed Oil & Gas organisation and mainly focused on group consolidation accounts.

As Group Commercial Manager, Alex is responsible for developing, refining, and implementing Drake Business Services Asia’s extensive suite of solutions throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Additionally, he ensures that all processes and frameworks are standardised across each country and aligned with industry best practice.
His career spans over ten years of expertise across bid management, proposal development, marketing, process improvement, and commercial modelling.
Further, Alex holds nearly a decade of experience within the Drake Group, commencing his career in Melbourne with Drake International before transferring to the Drake Business Services Asia group in Japan.
Based in Tokyo, Alex works closely with the Drake Business Services Asia management team throughout each region to improve business practices and develop impactful client solutions that deliver efficiency and value for money.

Mark is an experienced business leader and Director who creates a clear strategic view for businesses, establishing strong relationships with management teams to deliver outstanding returns to shareholders and service excellence to customers.
Mark has spent much of his 35-year career in the logistics and information management sectors in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom. He also holds Executive Director and major shareholder positions in a number of businesses operating in the energy sector as well as bringing start up technologies to market.
In his current position with DBSA, Mark takes overall responsibility for the groups’ strategic IT initiatives (including our Digital Hub technology).

As Group Marketing Manager, Kate leads the development and execution of the group’s marketing strategy, overseeing a dynamic team to ensure seamless delivery of initiatives aligned with regional business objectives, budgets, and timelines.
With over 15 years of global experience spanning multiple industries, Kate brings a wealth of expertise in both digital and traditional marketing. Her broad skill set enables her to drive strategic marketing initiatives that not only fuel business growth but also enhance brand visibility and market positioning. She is particularly passionate about fostering an environment where creativity thrives and every team member has the tools and confidence to contribute to the company’s success.
Based in Melbourne, Australia, Kate is focused on driving business success across all APAC markets, adapting strategies to local needs while ensuring global consistency. Beyond performance metrics, she is committed to positioning the company as an workplace of choice, enhancing recruitment efforts, and nurturing a positive, inclusive workplace culture where team members feel valued and empowered to grow within their roles.

Maiko Takahashi is an experienced HR professional with a diverse background that spans both accounting and human resources. After earning a degree in accounting from college in New York City, she interned at a CPA firm, gaining experience in preparing corporate and individual tax returns. This foundation in finance led to a move to a Japanese bank, where she gradually transitioned from accounting to HR, eventually focusing on HR-related functions upon returning to Japan.
Currently serving as a key member of Drake Business Services Japan, she joined the company in April 2020, at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to managing HR operations, she also plays a central role in Business Development, launching and growing new business initiatives while specializing in customer relations.
With a passion for supporting company growth and ensuring smooth workforce management, she continues to contribute to the success of organizations in both HR and business development capacities.

Aoi is in charge of managing all Vaco Japan vendor teams at Google in APAC, with a focus on Japan and Korea, overseeing multiple verticals. Her key responsibilities include HR management, recruitment, stakeholder communication, data and performance analysis, process automation, and business development. Aoi is committed to fostering a supportive and high-performing work environment while driving operational efficiency.
With extensive experience in recruitment, Aoi has worked with luxury brands and major firms, including Big 4 companies. She is dedicated to building strong stakeholder relationships and fostering team cohesion.
Aoi spent five years in Vancouver, Canada, where she completed her education before returning to Japan. Outside of work, she is passionate about traditional Japanese culture and holds certifications in both tea ceremony (Sadou) and flower arrangement (Kadou).

Keisuke Furuya joined the team in 2021 as a Senior Account Manager. His key responsibilities include stakeholder communication and driving operational efficiency.
He initially started out in the hospitality industry, then moved onto the trading business where he worked closely with executive teams and acquired knowledge and experience in sales, procurement, import/export, customer support, management, etc.
His goals are to be flexible and to create an environment where both staff and clients can flourish.

With over 20 years of diverse experience across multinational companies, Yumi has had the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of operations, from office relocations to equipment management, and everything in between. Her career has been a blend of human resources, general affairs, finance, and even entrepreneurship, providing her with a unique perspective on how businesses operate and thrive.
Prior to joining Drake Business Services Asia, she served as a Recruiting Coordinator and Sourcer at Korn Ferry, where she focused on identifying and acquiring top-tier talent to meet the needs of global organizations. Prior to that, she advanced her skills in general affairs and HR at several leading companies where she supported senior leadership and managed key operational functions across finance, HR, and administration.
After spending several years working in the financial sector, she made a bold move to follow her passion for cooking and opened up her own restaurant. For over a decade, she managed every aspect of the business, from cooking to customer service, which taught her invaluable lessons in entrepreneurship, leadership, and the art of hospitality.
As a teenager, she spent many years studying in England, broadening her views and perspectives, and shaping her approach to work and life.
In her current role as an HR/Finance Specialist at DBSA, she supports operational efficiencies and helps to drive business success.
Outside of work, Yumi is an avid cook, music lover, and animal enthusiast. Her 15-year-old cat, Mocaco, is always by her side, and she cherishes the time she spends with family and friends.

Masahiro is an Account Manager based in Tokyo, where they support global companies in enhancing operational efficiency and managing client relationships. His responsibilities include coordinating receptionist shifts, responding to urgent situations, and leveraging prior sales experience to strengthen client relationships while contributing to new business development initiatives with the team.
With a background in sales at an American insurance company, Masahiro has developed strong skills in understanding client needs, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement. Their expertise lies in building long-term partnerships, ensuring seamless service delivery, and identifying growth opportunities.
In a fast-paced international environment, Masahiro consistently demonstrates strengths in problem-solving, adaptability, and collaboration to meet client expectations. Their ability to work effectively in diverse teams and navigate cross-cultural communication enables them to thrive in complex business landscapes.
Outside of work, Masahiro is passionate about kickboxing, with over a decade of experience training alongside professional fighters and volunteering as a trainer. This commitment reflects values of discipline, resilience, and continuous improvement—principles that also guide his professional approach. Always open to new opportunities and collaborations, Masahiro is driven to deliver impactful solutions and contribute to business success.
